今日、父は病院を退院し、自宅でホスピスケアを受けることになりました。
ここ数日、父は私たちによく一緒に祈ってほしいと頼み、その中で何度も、自分はもうイエス様がいる自分の本当のホームに帰りたいということを話しています。もっと一緒に時間を過ごしたいと願う家族はみな、それを聞いてさびしく思いますが、残されている時間がほとんどないということも分かっています。一昨日の夜、父はこう祈りました。「長年にわたって私のために祈ってくれたすべての人々を感謝します。私を愛してくれる家族を感謝します。神様が与えてくれた時間を感謝します。でも、もうイエス様に会う準備はできています。イエス様に会うのが待ち遠しいです。私を家に帰してください。」
Health Update: Today, Dad is being discharged from the hospital to receive hospice care at home.
Over the past few days, he has asked us to pray with him often. He expressed many times through prayer his desire to go home to be with Jesus. His family is very sad because we all wanted more time, but we know he has very little at this point. In prayer, he said two nights ago, "I'm thankful for all the people who've prayed for me over the years.
I'm thankful for my family, that loves me. I'm thankful for the time God has given me, but I'm ready to see Jesus. I can't wait to see Jesus. Send me home."
